Who are we and why do we know what we are talking about?
We are the owners of ProPix Photography a professional sports photography company. We are also parents of children that participate in many sports including dance, soccer swimming, footbal, basketball and more. We have literally taken millions of sports photos, both to sale and for personal enjoyment. No, we are not sports photographers for Sports Illustrated. We take sports photos and sell them to parents and athletes. We know what good photos are because good photos sale.

Our Company ProPix Photography LLC
We are a U.S. national sports photographer that has done sports photography in nearly every state. We have professionaly taken and sold photos in more than 1,000 events. We have done events with 10 participants to 4,000 and sports from soccer to hockey and recently our business has been focused on competitive dance. ProPix has been in business since 2001, but we have over 30 years of sports photography experience. Yes, we were taking and selling sports photos back in the days of film. Try that for an added challenge.

We have over 30 years experience shooting all kinds of sports including soccer, football, basketball, baseball, swimming, skiing, dance and many more. Not only do we have years of experience, but we have taken over 20 million sports photos in that time and sold 100,000s of those photographs. We have stood outside in 100+ degrees for 18 hours shooting game after game, of in cold, rainy and snowy days. We have taken so many photographs in a single day our fingers and wrists have become injured. We know sports photography and we will help you become proficient and successful in sports photography.

Who are we?

Scott Wells
Scott has over 23 years of experience in the computer software industry and a MBA. His expertise is in marketing, business development and working with strategic partners. Scott and his teams have always been recognized by the organization as the “team that gets things done!” His unique combination of technical and marketing skills allows him to understand the complexities of technology yet be able to put the technology to use in a way that benefits the business and the customers. As a photographer Scott is dedicated to documenting the life of his family through photos. He currently has over 40,000 personal photos and knows when, where and what to take photos of family members.

Terance Ostrander
Terance has been a photographer all his life. He has in-depth skill and experience in color management, quality assurance and production process. As the lead over ProPix's photo production Terance has literally manipulated millions of photos and knows the ins and outs of quickly editing, cropping and enhancing photos in a way that is pleasing to the eye. Terance has extensive computer and computer networking experience.

Todd Cherry
Todd has been an event photographer for over 25 years. Todd is an exceptional photographer with experience in teaching photography and taking all kinds of photos from action to posed. He knows the business of taking photos and selling them at an event. A large portion of the ProPix photography staff are college students. This means that yearly their is a significant turn-over rate requiring retraining of employees. Todd has become proficient and expert in being able to quickly train individuals to become excellent photographers.
